Just to clarify the support point: if you join us, you will have all the support we can muster (pretty much look at all our top 40 players, take a third of their village count, and multiply it by 24k population of defensive units) but it will take time to get to you. I don't know if we will be able to stack every single one of your villages, but we should be able to have a good portion of them stacked within 4-5 days.

Okay, this isn't quite as complete as my first response, but I'm getting tired so it will have to do.

Just so there is no confusion later, this is still Cabue talking. Fwin is moving to a new place, so I'm guessing he is having some issues with his new internet access.

Here is my take on the situation (I'm not the type to bullshit or play mind games, so please don't feel the need to read between the lines):

BANG! is playing us and will turn on us the second its convenient. BANG! will keep us NAPed until MILK is gone, and then turn on us in force. However, they hold all the cards where you and your guys are concerned because they are threatening to attack you while we value the friendship we've maintained over the last few months and don't want to bully you guys. Maybe I'm misreading BANG!, but I doubt it.

Regardless of what happens in the future, right now you are the ones between a rock and a hard place. As I see it, the options are:

1) Join us and we will go back to war against BANG! immediately. We will do our best to support and stack your villages, but I'm not going to pretend that troops will appear in your southern villages in 5 minutes (looks like our closest villages could be supporting you in 2-3 days). It will take time and you guys will be in the cross hairs for quite a while. What I can tell you is that we pretty much have no hostiles at the moment and we haven't been under attack for a while, so we have lots of fresh troops ready to go and we would focus our attention on BANG! completely. We would also do our best to get diplomatic convos going with C2 and all the other major players to ensure no outside interference.

2) You guys join BANG! and Virus does its best to keep up the NAP and even try for ally status. You guys get some immediate breathing room and time to rebuild. If I'm right, in a month or two BANG! will come knocking on our doors and then its really up to you as far as what you want to do. I would like to propose that we agree to fall back on option #1 if that happens (but with the added bonus that you have time to rebuild and we have time to stack your villages before you join Virus), but since you would be gambling with your tribe members safety I'll leave that choice up to you. If I'm wrong and BANG! and Virus become best of friends, then it doesn't really matter which tribe you are in.

I guess it boils down to: we are willing to work with you so that you and your guys get what you need, even if that's not the best outcome for us. We still consider you an ally and a friend and we aren't going to use you as a tool or threaten to attack you if you don't do what we demand. Whether you see decide that joining BANG! solely because they will attack you if you don't is a good long-term move is your call. Personally I'd rather fight it out, win or lose.

After hearing both tribes selling themselves to us i have to say that Bang just sound that bit more convincing, I'm sure this would be the right move for us................. Where do i sign

I vote BANG!

If no one else has any objections, we will start the process of BANG sending support to our northern and eastern vils. Then, we will progressively join them after having told MILK about this. Perhaps, BANG! will offer MILK a much-needed NAP, who knows?

I think we should push this agenda when we are in BANG! I'd also like to add that if C2 and Virus ever get an alliance going and want to attack BANG! later on, I would be willing to switch over to Virus, as Cabue suggested.

Sorry grimmnn but I dont agree with what you said. I am no tribe hopper and have only left tribes because 1. merge and 2. inactivity.
If BANG! are active and well organised I wont leave them, I dont mind whether they are attacked by 2 tribes.

Of course, I would prefer not to leave them either.

On the other hand, let's not forget BANG!'s offer essentially boils down to this: "Join us or die". While I do mind leaving a tribe I've joined by choice, I have less problems leaving a tribe that has bullied me into joining them.

Mind you, I don't think this situation will arise. When we are in BANG, I think we will try our best to avoid them entering a conflict with Virus. However, if Virus enters into a war with BANG and they have C2 on their side, I think we should consider this option. IF this happens, then we will have to discuss this subject again in this forum.

That said, even though Virus' offer was respectful and non-threatening, I still think joining BANG was the best choice for us at the moment.
